The Secretary General of the Muslim Council of Elders, Judge Mohamed Abdelsalam, will deliver the opening remarks at an International Women’s Month Event organized by the American Muslim & Multifaith Women Empowerment Council (AMMWEC). Under the theme, 'Women Can!', the event aims to promote positive narratives about all women (including Arabs and Muslims) as well as highlight the work of women in the community and in peacemaking, while also showcasing positive female role models for younger generations.
