Muslim Council of Elders strongly condemns Israeli occupation's decision to annex land in the occupied Palestinian territories

The Muslim Council of Elders strongly condemns the Israeli occupation's decision to annex 8,000 dunams of land in the Al Aghwar area of the occupied Palestinian territories.

The Council expresses its unequivocal rejection of all measures aimed at altering the historical and legal status quo in the occupied Palestinian territories, as well as any practices that violate international resolutions. Such actions threaten further escalation and tension in the region and hinder efforts to achieve peace and stability.

The Muslim Council of Elders calls on the international community to work towards stopping the aggression against the Palestinian people and to find a just and comprehensive solution to the Palestinian issue. It also supports the right of the Palestinian people to establish an independent state with Jerusalem as its capital.
