His Eminence Nuriddin Kholiknazarov, Chairman of the Muslim Board and Chief Mufti of Uzbekistan, congratulates the Muslim Council of Elders on its tenth anniversary


His Eminence Sheikh Nuriddin Kholiknazarov: "The Muslim Council of Elders has managed in a short period to become a leading Islamic organization in the world"


His Eminence Sheikh Nuriddin Kholiknazarov, the Chairman of the Muslim Board and Chief Mufti in Uzbekistan extended his congratulations to the Muslim Council of Elders under the chairmanship of His Eminence Dr. Ahmed al-Tayeb, the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar on the occasion of its tenth anniversary.


In a statement, His Eminence Sheikh Nuriddin Kholiknazarov noted that the Muslim Council of Elders has swiftly become one of the leading Islamic achievements and organizations globally. He highlighted its efforts in promoting peace worldwide, fostering values of dialogue, tolerance, conflict resolution, and averting conflicts. He emphasized its mission to build societies based on peace, harmony, human fraternity, pluralism, and acceptance of others.


Furthermore, he noted that the Muslim Council of Elders has made significant strides in correcting misconceptions about Islam, the religion of compassion, justice, and equality. He praised the Council's endeavors in spreading the values of moderation, confronting the major challenges facing the Islamic nation in particular, and humanity in general.


The Muslim Council of Elders is an independent international organization established on 21 Ramadan 1435AH corresponding to 19 July 2014. The Council aims to promote peace in Muslim and non-Muslim and to spread and enhance the values of tolerance, dialogue, and coexistence and is Chaired by His Eminence Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayeb, the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar. Its comprises a group of Muslim scholars, experts, and leaders known for their wisdom, justice, independence, and moderation.
