Under the Chairmanship of the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar His Eminence Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayeb, the Muslim Council of Elders extends its condolences to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan and its people for the lives lost as a result of flooding that led to hundreds of deaths and injuries as well the displacement of thousands. 

The Council also conveys its full support for the Islamic Republic of Pakistan during these difficult times while extending condolences to the families of the victims, and wishing the injured a quick recovery. May Allah protect Pakistan and its people from any harm.
