During His Eminence’s reception of a delegation from the Protestant Community of Egypt

His Eminence Dr Ahmed El-Tayeb, Grand Imam of Al-Azhar and Chairman of the Muslim Council of Elders has received a delegation from the Protestant Community of Egypt headed by Rev. Dr. Andrea Zaki who congratulated the Grand Imam on the occasion of the Holy Month of Ramadan.

During the meeting, His Eminence expressed his gratitude for the Protestant community’s well-wishes while noting that coexistence between Muslims and Christians on special occasions is a commendable model for the world to follow.

For their part, the Protestant delegation congratulated the Grand Imam on the occasion of the Holy Month of Ramadan while wishing His Eminence and the Muslim world at large continued prosperity and happiness.
