Muslim Council of Elders Extends Eid Al-Adha Greetings to the Arab and Muslim Nations

05 June 2025

The Muslim Council of Elders, under the chairmanship of His Eminence Professor Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayeb, the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar, extends its heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to the Arab and Muslim nations—kings, princes, presidents, and peoples—on the blessed occasion of Eid Al-Adha. The Council prays to Almighty Allah to return this occasion upon the Arab and Muslim worlds, and all of humanity, with goodness, compassion, blessings, and lasting peace and stability.

On this blessed occasion, the Muslim Council of Elders earnestly supplicates to Allah Almighty to bestow peace and goodness upon the Muslim world and all of humanity, to rid our world of unrest, conflicts, and wars, and to grant greater security, harmony, and stability to all humanity.

The Council calls upon all members of the Muslim Ummah to draw inspiration from the spirit of this noble occasion, where the rituals of Hajj manifest the values of unity and cohesion. It urges the promotion of solidarity, mutual understanding, and harmony, and the rejection of division, discord, and strife. The Council encourages Muslims to embody love, come together in goodness, draw nearer to Allah Almighty, and bring joy to the hearts of the poor, the downtrodden, the deprived, and the marginalized by offering support, fulfilling their needs, and easing their hardships during these blessed days.
