The Muslim Council of Elders, chaired by His Eminence Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayeb, the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar, extends its heartfelt congratulations to the Arab and Islamic nations—as well as its kings, emirs, presidents, and peoples—on the occasion of the new Hijri year 1447 AH and the anniversary of the noble Prophetic migration. The Council prays that Almighty Allah blesses this occasion onto the Arab and Islamic nations and the world with goodness, love, security, safety, and stability.
On this occasion, the Muslim Council of Elders recalls the noble Prophetic migration, with its lofty values of patience, steadfastness, love for homelands, trust in Allah, and the pursuit of building a society founded on sublime human values of justice, mercy, and coexistence. The Council emphasizes the importance of drawing inspiration from these values in our contemporary reality, striving to promote peace, reinforce fraternity, unify the nation, and build bridges of dialogue and understanding among people of diverse affiliations and cultures.
The Muslim Council of Elders also renews its call for continued collective efforts toward a world of peace, mercy, and solidarity. May Almighty Allah make this new Hijri year one of goodness, safety, and stability for the Arab and Islamic nations and for all of humanity.
