Muslim Council of Elders stands in solidarity with Afghanistan over the victims of the earthquake that struck the north of the country
The Muslim Council of Elders, under the chairmanship of His Eminence Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayeb, the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar, extends its sincere condolences to Afghanistan for the victims of the earthquake that struck the north of the country and resulted in a number of deaths and injuries.
The Council affirms its full solidarity with the Afghan people in this humanitarian disaster, calling on the international community and relief organizations to act swiftly to deliver urgent aid, rescue those affected, and alleviate their suffering.
The Muslim Council of Elders also offers its deepest condolences to the families and loved ones of the victims in this painful tragedy, praying that Allah, Almighty, envelops the deceased in His vast mercy and grants the injured a speedy recovery.
