The Muslim Council of Elders Condemns the Shooting Incident at Brown University in the United States
The Muslim Council of Elders, chaired by His Eminence Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayeb, the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar and Chairman of the Muslim Council of Elders, condemns the shooting incident that occurred at Brown University in the U.S. state of Rhode Island, which resulted in the death and injury of a number of individuals.
The Council affirms its categorical rejection of such criminal acts that aim to terrorize innocent civilians, and calls for intensified efforts to promote and uphold the values of tolerance, coexistence, and peace.
The Muslim Council of Elders extends its sincere condolences to the Government and people of the United States of America, as well as to the families of the victims, and prays for a speedy recovery for those injured.
