“A Reading of the Book of Abd al-Karim al-Jili and His Place in Sufi Islamic Thought”

The Muslim Council of Elders pavilion at the 57th Cairo International Book Fair organized a cultural seminar entitled: “A Reading of the Book of Abd al-Karim al-Jili and His Place in Sufi Islamic Thought,” authored by Najah al-Ghunaimi. The seminar featured Professor Dr. Suhair al-Fil, Professor of Islamic Creed and Philosophy at Al-Azhar University, and was moderated by Dr. Muhammad Mash’al, a faculty member at Al-Azhar University.
The seminar highlighted the contributions of Imam Abd al-Karim al-Jili to Sufi Islamic thought and his scholarly standing within Islamic heritage. It also discussed the scientific methodology employed by the author in studying al-Jili’s thought and his collection of texts and manuscripts from libraries around the world, thus enhancing the intellectual and spiritual understanding of this profound intellectual legacy.
