The Muslim Council of Elders, under the Chairmanship of the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar His Eminence Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayeb, strongly condemns the Israeli occupation's repeated raids on Jenin Refugee Camp in the occupied West Bank which resulted in a number of deaths and injuries. 

The Council calls on the international community and international organizations to bring to a halt to the constant transgressions against the Palestinian people and to impartially arbitrate the issue while supporting Palestinian people in their cause to establish an independent state with Jerusalem as its capital.
