Under the chairmanship of His Eminence Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayeb, the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar, the Muslim Council of Elders strongly condemns the terrorist attacks by Israeli settlers on a number of Palestinian villages, resulting in the loss of civilian lives and injuries.

The Muslim Council of Elders reaffirms its rejection of such criminal acts and flagrant assaults against the Palestinian people. It calls upon the international community to take immediate action to halt these violations and support the right of the Palestinian people to establish an independent state with Jerusalem as its rightful capital.
