‏Muslim Council of Elders Strongly Condemns Terrorist Attack in Northwest Pakistan

‏Under the chairmanship of His Eminence Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayeb, the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar, the Muslim Council of Elders strongly condemns the terrorist attack in Pakistan's northwestern Bajaur district which led to a number of casualties and injuries.

‏The Council reaffirms its rejection of such acts of terror that contradict basic religious teachings as well as divine laws and international norms whilst also calling for unified international efforts to confront terrorism in all its forms. 

‏The Muslim Council of Elders extends its sincere condolences to the people of Pakistan as well as the victims' families and loved ones, praying to Almighty Allah to grant the injured a swift recovery.
