His Excellency Sheikh Abdulrahman bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs in the Kingdom of Bahrain, has commended the dedicated efforts of the Muslim Council of Elders in serving Islamic causes as well as cultivating genuine moderate approaches, and fostering collaborative Arab and Islamic cooperation to attain global security and stability.
The statement took place during a reception of Judge Mohamed Abdelsalam, the Secretary-General of the Muslim Council of Elders, by the Chairman of the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs. In this context, Judge Mohamed Abdelsalam commended the efforts of the Kingdom of Bahrain, led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, in promoting and endorsing interfaith dialogue, peaceful coexistence, and the backing of Islamic and Muslim causes.
The meeting underscored the strong relations between the Muslim Council of Elders in Abu Dhabi and the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs in the Kingdom of Bahrain and discussed various matters of shared interest.
For his part, Judge Mohamed Abdelsalam conveyed his gratitude for His Excellency Sheikh Abdulrahman bin Mohammed Al Khalifa and the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs in the Kingdom of Bahrain, acknowledging their sincere role in enhancing bilateral relations with the Muslim Council of Elders and recognizing the significant contributions of the Supreme Council and its exemplary role in achieving coexistence.
His Excellency Sheikh Abdulrahman bin Mohammed Al Khalifa has been a member of the Muslim Council of Elders since September 2020. The close association between the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs in the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Muslim Council of Elders encompasses collaborative endeavors to spread and promote the values of dialogue, tolerance, and coexistence.
