Muslim Council of Elders Mourns Victims of Tropical Storm Daniel in Libya and Calls for Urgent Support and Relief for Victims

Under the Chairmanship of His Eminence Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayeb, the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar, the Muslim Council of Elders mourns the victims of Tropical Storm Daniel which struck Libya, resulting in hundreds of casualties and injuries.

On this occasion, the muslim council of elders calls for urgent support and relief to those affected by the heavy rainfall and flooding that have caused extensive damage and rendered several areas as disaster zones in eastern Libya.

The  Council also extends its heartfelt condolences to the nation of Libya, its leadership and people, as well as to the families of the victims, praying that Almighty Allah grant the deceased His mercy and afford the injured a swift recovery.
