The Muslim Council of Elders readies for its third consecutive participation at the Cairo International Book Fair, the largest book fair in the Arab world and one of the most prominent international literary events. The book fair will run from the 22nd of January until the 4th of February. The Council's participation is set to include a number of new publications that call for tolerance and human fraternity. Among these publications are three children's books, which are the works of Finnish author Tuula Pere and have been translated into Arabic by Al Hokama Publishing.
The Council will also hold a number of seminars on human fraternity at its participating stand, as part of its overall strategy.
The Council's stand will also include a section for the 'Higher Committee of Human Fraternity' which will feature highlights from the signing of the Human Fraternity Document by His Eminence Dr Ahmed El-Tayeb, the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar and Chairman of the Muslim Council of Elders and His Holiness Pope Francis, Pope of the Catholic Church.
The Council's stand at the Cairo International Book Fair will be at Hall number 4, and will accept visitors from 10am until 8pm.
