The Muslim Council of Elders, under the chairmanship of His Eminence Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayeb, the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar, extends heartfelt congratulations to the Arab and Islamic nations on the occasion of Isra' and Mi'raj. The council prays that the Almighty blesses this sacred occasion for the Arab, Islamic, and human nations with goodness, grace, and abundant blessings.
On this occasion, which symbolizes support, confirmation, and honor for the Seal of Prophets, Muhammad (PBUH) during a journey that defied norms and transcended human comprehension, witnessing miraculous events and meeting with the prophets, peace and blessings be upon them all. Inspired by the close ties among these prophets, the Muslim Council of Elders calls upon humanity, despite its differences and diversity, to draw inspiration from their common human fraternity. The council advocates for ending wars and conflicts, promoting principles of justice, goodness, and peace among all people.
Furthermore, the council urges Muslims to derive valuable lessons from this blessed journey, emphasizing the virtues of patience, positive hope, and unwavering faith in the capability of Allah Almighty. This should be accompanied by taking appropriate measures and following the guidance of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and embracing his teachings, which serves as a source of well-being in this world and the Hereafter.
