Today, Thursday, His Excellency Sheikh Abdulrahman bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Khalifa, Head of the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs, received His Excellency Professor Dr. Abbas Shoman, the Secretary-General of the Council of Senior Scholars, His Excellency Professor Dr. Nazir Mohammed Nazir Ayad, Secretary-General of the Islamic Research Academy, and His Excellency Judge Mohamed Abdulsalam, Secretary-General of the Muslim Council of Elders, along with the accompanying delegation. A joint meeting was held to consult on the preparation and organization of the "Intra-Muslim Dialogue Conference" scheduled to be held in the Kingdom of Bahrain. 

His Excellency the Head of the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs stated that, based on the noble directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of the Kingdom of Bahrain, to proceed with the Intra-Muslim Dialogue project called for by His Eminence Professor Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayeb, the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar and Chairman of the Muslim Council of Elders, at the Bahrain Dialogue Forum held in the Kingdom of Bahrain in November 2022, a joint meeting was held today in the presence of the representatives of His Eminence Professor Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayeb, and the delegation of the Muslim Council of Elders to prepare and organize this important conference. The Kingdom of Bahrain will host the event at the beginning of the next year, 2025, with the participation of senior scholars from the Islamic world and scholars from Islamic institutions worldwide. This dialogue is essential to confirm the broad areas of agreement in matters of belief, thought, and values, as all Muslims form one united nation.
