His Eminence Dr Ahmed El-Tayeb Grand Imam of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif and Chairman of the Muslim Council of Elders has offered his deepest condolences to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, King of Saudi Arabia, for the passing of his brother Prince Talal bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, who passed away on Saturday.

The Grand Imam also offered his condolences to the siblings and children of the late prince, as well as the government and people of Saudi Arabia. His Eminence prayed to Almighty Allah to have mercy on the late Prince and grant him eternal paradise while also giving his beloved ones patience during these difficult times. "To Allah we belong and to him we shall return".
