The Muslim Council of Elders extends its congratulations to Senator Datuk Dr. Zulkifli Mohamad Al-Bakri, President of the Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM) and member of the Muslim Council of Elders  for winning the first edition of the Pioneering Graduates Award from the Islamic University of Medina.

The Council reaffirms that the award is the result of Senator Al-Bakri's tireless efforts in spreading the values of coexistence, tolerance and peace in the service of his religion, nation and humanity as a whole.

The Award is under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Salman Al Saud, Governor of the Medina province and was presented during the 58th annual graduation ceremony from the Islamic University of Medina.

The Pioneering Graduates Award from the Islamic University of Medina is an annual award that honors three distinguished university graduates within three different categories. The categories are; Innovation, Sustainable Development and Entrepreneurship. The Award aims to promote effective and positive communication between the university and its graduates, while also motivating them to make concerted efforts towards developing their countries for the benefit of their people.
