The Secretary General of the Muslim Council of Elders, Dr Sultan Al Remeithi has offered his condolences to the family of late Field Marshal Abdulrahman Siwar al-Dahab, the former President of Sudan and Muslim Council of Elders member during a visit to the Sudanese capital Khartoum.
Al Remeithi also offered condolences on behalf of His Eminence Dr Ahmed El-Tayeb, Grand Imam of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif and Chairman of the Muslim Council of Elders, praying to Almighty Allah to grant the late Field Marshal mercy and paradise in the hereafter.
The Secretary General spoke of the late Field Marshal’s honourable history which positively impacted the people of Sudan as well the Arab and Muslim worlds. Al Remeithi also praised the Field Marshal’s great contributions during his time as a member of the Muslim Council of Elders.
