His Eminence Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayeb, the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar and Chairman of the Muslim Council of Elders is set for an official visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain on the 3rd of November, after an official invitation from His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
The Grand Imam will take part in the first edition of the ‘Bahrain Dialogue Forum’, held under the theme, ‘Dialogue between East and West for a Humane Coexistence’. The event is set to be held under the patronage of the King of Bahrain, His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and will be attended by His Holiness Pope Francis, Pontiff of the Catholic Church alongside over 200 other religious leaders from around the world. The two-day event will will be held in partnership with the Muslim Council of Elders and is set to take place on the 3rd and 4th of November in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
