Secretary-General of the Muslim Council of Elders (MCE) Judge Mohamed Abdelsalam has met with Albanian Deputy Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Ms. Megi Fino to discuss prospects for cooperation.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed ways to enhance bilateral relations in the areas of empowering young people and promoting the values of coexistence, tolerance, and intercultural dialogue.

The Secretary-General expressed his appreciation for the efforts of the Republic of Albania in promoting interfaith dialogue and mutual acceptance, praising the Albanian model of tolerance and coexistence.

For her part, the Albanian Deputy Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs commended the outstanding efforts of the United Arab Emirates in advancing the values of human fraternity. She also praised the efforts exerted by the MCE to promote peace within Muslim and non-Muslim communities and the meaningful initiatives spearheaded by the Council to advance peace and harmonious coexistence worldwide.
