Secretary-General of the Muslim Council of Elders Meets the Chairman of the N. Nazarbayev Centre for the Development of Interfaith and Inter-civilisation Dialogue and Discusses Ways to Enhance Mutual Cooperation


The Secretary-General of the Muslim Council of Elders, Judge Mohamed Abdelsalam, met with His Excellency Bulat Sarsenbayev, Chairman of the N. Nazarbayev Centre on the Development of Interfaith and Inter-civilisation Dialogue, to discuss ways to enhance mutual cooperation in promoting dialogue between different religions and cultures.


At the beginning of the meeting, the Secretary-General of the #Muslim_Council_of_Elders commended the efforts of the N. Nazarbayev Centre on the Development of Interfaith and Inter-civilisation Dialogue, affirming that the upcoming period will witness a new era of collaborative efforts, joint initiatives, and projects between the Central Asian branch of the Muslim Council of Elders and the N. Nazarbayev Centre on the Development of Interfaith and Inter-civilisation Dialogue which will be aimed at promoting the values of dialogue, tolerance, and coexistence.


For his part, the Chairman of the N. Nazarbayev Centre on the Development of Interfaith and Inter-civilisation Dialogue congratulated the Secretary-General of the Muslim Council of Elders on the opening of the Council's branch in Central Asia, which is headquartered in Kazakhstan's capital, Astana. He also expressed the readiness for the N. Nazarbayev Centre on the Development of Interfaith and Inter-civilisation Dialogue to significantly cooperate with the Muslim Council of Elders in order to promote dialogue, human fraternity and the dissemination of the values of harmony among followers of different faiths which will enhance peaceful coexistence.
