The Muslim Council of Elders' Pavilion at the Cairo International Book Fair 2024 presents the book "Lectures on Monotheism" by Muhammad Youssef al-Sheikh which explores various issues in theology in this latest publication from the Muslim Council of Elders. The book offers an explanation of select theological matters from the text "Al-Aqaid Al-Nasafiyyah." The author perceives the need for detailed explanations and commentary on these issues, considering it a study guide for students of creed at Al-Azhar University.

The author also responds to numerous inquiries, explaining the stance of Ahl al-Sunnah on various issues. These include questions about whether the murdered person has reached their appointed time of death, the nature of the forbidden (haram) as sustenance, the understanding of guidance and misguidance, the obligation of choosing what is most beneficial to Allah, and the Sunnah perspective on it. The book covers topics such as the punishment and bliss of the grave, questioning in the grave, resurrection and its reality, the differences in its nature, the balance, the book, questioning, the Basin, the Bridge, Paradise, Hell, major sins, intercession, and more. The author provides a thorough exploration of the opinions of Ahl al-Sunnah and their evidence, engaging in a calm discussion of the positions of various theological schools and philosophical doctrines on these aforementioned issues.

The Muslim Council of Elders' pavilion at the Cairo International Book Fair features a diverse collection of publications, along with a series of seminars, activities, and events focused on promoting the values of peace and mutual coexistence among all humanity.
