An official reception was held for the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar and Chairman of the Muslim Council of Elders upon his arrival at Kuala Lumpur International Airport.

His Eminence Prof. Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayeb, the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar and Chairman of the Muslim Council of Elders, has just arrived at Kuala Lumpur International Airport, following an invitation from the Prime Minister of Malaysia, Dato' Seri Anwar Ibrahim. This visit marks the start of his Southeast Asia tour, which includes stops in Malaysia, Thailand, and Indonesia.
