Arab Media Convention for Human Fraternity

Held in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates, under the patronage of the Muslim Council of Elders, the Arab Media Convention for Human Fraternity brought together prominent figures, including His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence; Dr. Sultan Al Remeithi, the then-Secretary-General of the Council; Judge Mohamed Abdelsalam, Secretary-General of the Higher Committee of Human Fraternity; Paolo Ruffini, Prefect for the Vatican’s Dicastery for Communication; Mr. Qais Al-Azzawi, Assistant Secretary-General of the League of Arab States; and 200 Arab media professionals. Makram Mohamed Ahmed, President of the Supreme Council for Media Regulation (SCMR), and Diaa Rashwan, President of the Egyptian Press Syndicate, were also in attendance.

The gathering sought to embed the concept of human fraternity as a lived and tangible reality within global civilization. It also aimed to establish a unified charter, with the Muslim Council of Elders serving as the organizing body for this significant event.
