Datuk Senator Dr. Zulkifli Mohamad Al-Bakri, member of the Muslim Council of Elders and a former Malaysian Minister of Islamic Affairs, emphasized that peace is a great Islamic and humanitarian value based on respecting human rights, preserving social peace, and ensuring security and stability for all without discrimination.
During episode 10 of the "Human Values with the Elders" program, which airs daily throughout the month of Ramadan on social media platforms of the Muslim Council of Elders, Datuk Senator Dr. Zulkifli Mohamad Al-Bakri stated that achieving peace requires establishing principles of justice and equality. These two values constitute a fundamental pillar for building stable and prosperous societies, thereby instilling a sense of security and justice among people and reducing the likelihood of conflicts, wars, and disputes. He pointed out that achieving peace is the responsibility of everyone to build a better future for future generations.
Building on the Muslim Council of Elders' strategy to utilize all media platforms in promoting peace and spreading the values of dialogue, tolerance, and human coexistence, the Council is presenting five diverse Ramadan programs broadcast daily through its social media pages: "Imam Al-Tayeb," "Human Values with the Elders," "Month of Harmonious Coexistence," "Reflect on Fasting," and "Humanitarian Stories with Youth."
