Love in The Holy Qur’an
The book Love in The Holy Qur’an by Prince Ghazi bin Muhammad bin Talal of Jordan, a member of the Muslim Council of Elders, portrays Islam as a religion deeply rooted in love and affection. It challenges the misconceptions held by some non-Muslim individuals and propagated by some non-Muslim thinkers. While doing so, Prince Ghazi presents the Holy Qur’an as a profound constitution capable of fostering love worldwide. The book asserts that every conceivable aspect of love is comprehensively and explicitly detailed in Allah's Book, not just in general terms. Additionally, the Hadiths of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) support the teachings of the Qur’an. The approach of this book contrasts with other scholars who have discussed love; they often supported their discussions with references to Hadith, sayings from Sufis, poetry, folk tales, or other sources, whereas Prince Ghazi consistently grounds his arguments in the Qur’an.
