Dr. Yasser Abdelaziz
He holds a BA and MA in Journalism, as well as a PhD in Media from Cairo University. Over the years, he has worked as a correspondent for several major Arab newspapers, including *Al-Riyadh* and *Al-Yamamah* in Saudi Arabia, *Al-Rai Al-Aam* in Kuwait, and *Al-Hayat* and *Al-Wasat* in London. Additionally, he served as the Head of the Arab and International Affairs Department at *Al-Ittihad* newspaper in the UAE and was the Managing Editor of *Al-Baheth Al-Arabi* magazine in Saudi Arabia.
In 2000, he transitioned into research, working as a researcher, director, and editor for a prominent Gulf research center. In 2005, he joined the BBC World Service Development Fund, where he worked as a trainer and consultant for the Middle East and North Africa region. Since 2017, he has been the Cairo office manager for *Asharq Al-Awsat* newspaper.
