Comedian Media Professional and the CEO of LAGASH Media Production
Mr. Ahmed Albasheer
He is a writer, director, comedian, and TV presenter with a Bachelor's degree in Media from the University of Baghdad. He began his career as a journalist, but in 2011, he survived a suicide bombing that left him injured and claimed the lives of seven of his friends. This tragic event marked a turning point in his life, leading him to join Al-Babylia TV, where he hosted the program *Shko Mako*, which brought him widespread fame.
He later worked with Al-Sharqiya TV for two years, presenting various shows such as *Lifa Style*, *Muqata'a*, and *Abu Lisan*. He then launched a new satirical political program called *Al-Basheer Show*, which aired on Deutsche Welle Arabic. The show became a major success, with its episodes surpassing half a billion views on YouTube. He was recognized as one of the twenty most influential figures in the Arab world by the Global Influence Research Center and received the Al-Haitham Award for Arab Media in 2016.
