Prof. Dr. Amr El-Leithy
He is a journalist and editor-in-chief of *Al-Khamis* weekly newspaper, as well as a TV presenter known for programs like *Ikhtiraq*, *Wahid Min Al-Nas*, *Fi Al-Midan*, and *90 Minutes*. He serves as Vice President of Misr University for Science and Technology and is a Professor of Media. He has previously held positions as Chairman of Al-Hayat and Al-Nahar channels.
He received the UNESCO Award in 2010 for Development Media and has served as Media Advisor to the former President of Egypt. Among his accolades are the Mustafa and Ali Amin Award and the Lifetime Achievement Award from the American University. He is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Kamal Adham Center at the American University, a member of the Board of the Academy of Arts, and a member of the Supreme Council of Culture.
He is also the head of the Public Opinion Research Center at Misr University for Science and Technology, a part-time professor at the Maritime Academy, and a member of the Board of Trustees at both the Canadian University of Ahram and Delta University. Currently, he serves as the Chairman of the Union of Radio and Television of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, with the rank of Minister, headquartered in Jeddah. Additionally, he is a member of the Board of the Faculty of Media at Cairo University and part of the Media and Languages Committee at the Ministry of Higher Education.
