Rabbi M. Bruce Lustig


As the Senior Rabbi of Washington Hebrew Congregation, he is recognized for his efforts to foster dialogue and strengthen relationships among Jews, Christians, and Muslims. A prominent member of the American Peace Caravan, he co-chaired its summit, which brought together leading interfaith figures from across the United States to the United Arab Emirates, initiating a journey of mutual understanding and acceptance. He also served as a special advisor for the development of the American University course *Bridging the Great Divide: The Jewish-Muslim Encounter* and has lectured on interfaith dialogue at American University, Cornell University, and the University of Notre Dame. Additionally, he has been a member of the Faith Advisory Council to the Mayor of Washington, D.C., and served as the national coordinator for the National Day of Prayer. He holds a Doctorate in Theology and an M.A. in Hebrew.
