Assistant Undersecretary at the UAE’s Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MOHRE)
His Excellency Dr. Omar Al Nuaimi
He is the Secretary General of the Federal National Council and holds a PhD in Business Administration from the United States. He has previously served as the Assistant Undersecretary for Communication and International Relations, as well as the Assistant Undersecretary for Policies and Strategic Affairs at the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation.
Since 2014, he has led the General Secretariat of the Abu Dhabi Dialogue, a forum that unites labor ministers from 17 Gulf and Asian countries. He also represented the UAE for three years in the negotiations of the Global Compact on Migration at the United Nations.
He is an active member of several boards, including the Gender Balance Council, the Board of Directors of the General Authority of Islamic Affairs and Endowments, and the Board of Trustees of the Knowledge and Human Development Authority in Ajman. Additionally, he has been a faculty member at the United Arab Emirates University.
