His Excellency Dr. Djoomart Otorbaev
He earned his first Ph.D. from the Lebedev Institute of the USSR Academy of Sciences in 1981 and a second Ph.D. from the USSR Academy of Sciences in 1989. With a background as a physicist, he also served as a professor at Eindhoven University of Technology in the Netherlands. Over his 20 years of public service, he has held several diplomatic and high-ranking political roles, including serving as the Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic. He is currently a professor at Kyrgyz National University. His book, The Economic Renaissance of Central Asia in the New Great Game, is set to be published in the UK in 2023.
