Father Rifat Bader
Father Rifat Bader was ordained as a priest in Amman by His Beatitude Patriarch Michel Sabbah. He served as the official spokesperson for the Catholic Churches in Jordan during Pope John Paul II's historic visit to the country in 2000. Father Bader holds a Master’s degree in International Relations from Mutah University in Jordan. He continued in his role as spokesperson during Pope Benedict XVI’s visit to Jordan in 2009. He was appointed Director of the Catholic Center for Studies and Media in 2012. He also served as the spokesperson for the Catholic Churches during Pope Francis’ visit to Jordan. In addition to his work, he is a correspondent for Vatican Radio in Jordan and a member of the Catholic Media Association (CMA).
