Mohamed Mustafa Sherdy
With a distinguished career spanning more than 35 years in journalism, media, and politics, Mohamed Mustafa Sherdy has held several prominent positions, including serving as a former member of the Egyptian Parliament and the International Parliament. His journalism career saw him rise to become Chairman and Editor-in-Chief of Al-Wafd newspaper, where he penned a political column for 30 years, contributing to one of the most influential party-affiliated newspapers in the region.
Sherdy's foray into television began in 2008 as the host of Al-Qahira Al-Youm (‘Cairo Today’) on Orbit Network. His media journey continued with a show titled 90 Daqiqah (‘90 Minutes’) on Al-Mehwar Channel, followed by stints at Al-Nahar Channel. He then took the helm of Egypt’s longest-running talk show, Al-Hayah Al-Youm (‘Al-Hayah Today’), on Al-Hayah TV Channel. Today, he leads his latest venture as host of the popular show Qol Yaum (‘Every Day’) on ON TV.
