Osama Saraya
Born on March 24, 1952, Osama Saraya graduated from the Faculty of Mass Communication in 1975. He served as the Editor-in-Chief of Egypt’s Al-Ahram newspaper from July 2005 until March 2011. He writes a weekly column every Friday discussing his views on politics and domestic and international affairs in Egypt. Saraya has received several awards, including the African-Asian Union (AFASU) Golden Award for Journalistic Excellence.
