Prof. Dr. Aaron Tyler earned his PhD in Religion, Politics, and Culture at Baylor University. His research interests center on the political and religious theories of tolerance, the role of religious institutions in dialogue initiatives and conflict reduction, combating hate speech, and fostering the values of peaceful coexistence and human fraternity among people. His works have been featured in journals such as Political Theology, The Journal of Religion and Politics, The Journal of Interreligious Studies, The Journal of Culture and Politics, and The International Journal of Christianity and Social Work. He is also the author of the book titled Islam, the West, and Tolerance: Conceiving Coexistence.
