His Eminence Sheikh Nuriddin Kholiknazarov


His Eminence Sheikh Nuriddin Kholiknazarov currently serves as the Grand Mufti of the Republic of Uzbekistan and is a member of the Muslim Council of Elders. Throughout his career, he has served as an imam and preacher at the Ahmad Ali Makhdoom Mosque in Asaka, then at the Oqtepa Mosque in Tashkent, the capital. Simultaneously, he was a teacher at the Kukeldash Madrasah (Islamic School) in Tashkent, and at the Sayyid Muhyiddin Makhdoom Islamic School in Andijan province, later becoming the head of imams in Andijan province, and the head of imams in the city of Tashkent.
