At the 41st edition of the Sharjah International Book Fair, the Muslim Council of Elders showcased a range of publications tackling key intellectual issues, correcting misconceptions, and addressing hate speech, racism, and intolerance. The publications also offer solutions for fostering dialogue between East and West and promoting peaceful coexistence across all of humanity. The Council also organized a cultural seminar focused on the role of civil society and religious institutions in empowering women and promoting the values of tolerance and human fraternity. The seminar featured Dr. Ouided Bouchamaoui, a businesswoman, Nobel Peace Prize laureate (2015), and member of the Judging Committee for the Zayed Award for Human Fraternity, who discussed how these values impact both individuals and institutions.
