For the first time, the Muslim Council of Elders participated the New Delhi World Book Fair, the largest book fair in Asia. The Council attended the 30th Edition of the Fair, held from February 26 to March 5, 2023. Its pavilion garnered significant attention from a diverse cross-section of Indian society, with visitors praising the intellectual and cultural publications on display. The Arabic works, in particular, were noted for their rich diversity and focus on promoting peace, coexistence, and human fraternity, while denouncing violence, extremism, and hate speech. The pavilion also featured a series of thought-provoking seminars that further engaged the audience.
