Dr. Caroline Faraj
She joined CNN Arabic in 2001 as Chief Operating Officer and Content Editor, where she founded and managed the CNN Arabic website, launched in 2002. She also created and hosted Jordan's first morning talk show, *New Day*. Additionally, she held various positions with Dubai TV in London and Bahrain TV in Jordan.
Her journalistic experience includes roles as a political affairs correspondent for *Al Rai* newspaper in Jordan, Executive Editor of the *Jordan Times*, and a regional correspondent for *US Defense News*. She holds a Master’s degree in International Journalism from City University London and a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Mass Communication, with a specialization in Radio and Television, from Yarmouk University in Jordan. She was also awarded an honorary doctorate in science from City University London and received the Arab Woman Award in 2021 for her contributions to the field of media.
