Political Thinker and Member of the Senate
Dr. Abdel Moneim Said
He is a current member of the Egyptian Senate and serves as Chairman of the Advisory Committee of the Egyptian Council for Strategic Studies. He previously held key positions as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the *Al-Masry Al-Youm Press Foundation* in Cairo, the *Al-Ahram Press Foundation*, the *Al-Ahram Center for Strategic Studies*, and the *Regional Center for Strategic Studies*. He is also a member of the Egyptian Shura Council.
Since 2004, he has been a writer for *Asharq Al-Awsat*, as well as *Al-Ahram*, *Al-Masry Al-Youm*, and several other Arab newspapers. He is also an academic at various Egyptian universities and institutes, a visiting fellow at Brandeis University in the United States, and the author of several books.
