Archbishop Sebouh Sarkissian


He obtained his MA from the University of Birmingham in 1981. In June 1985, he was ordained as a priest, and on June 22, 1997, he was consecrated as a bishop. From 1992 to 1998, he served as the Vicar of the Diocese of Damascus and also held the position of Catholic Vicar in Kuwait and the Gulf States. In 1999, he was elected as the Archbishop of the Armenian Orthodox Church in Tehran.
