Minister of Islamic Affairs, Da’wah, and Guidance, Saudi Arabia
His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Saleh bin Abdulaziz Al Al-Sheikh
Born in Riyadh in 1959 (1378 AH), His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Saleh bin Abdulaziz Al al-Sheikh initially enrolled at the College of Engineering at King Saud University from which he moved to Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University, where he graduated from the College of the Fundamentals of Religion in 1416 AH. In the same year, a Royal Decree appointed him Deputy Minister of Islamic Affairs, Da’wah, and Guidance. In 1420 AH, another Royal Decree appointed him Minister of the same Ministry.
He has held numerous leadership roles, including General Supervisor of the Charitable Da’wah Foundation, General Supervisor of King Fahd Glorious Quran Printing Complex, Chairman of the Supreme Council of Awqaf, Chairman of the Dawah and Guidance Council, Chairman of the Supreme Council of Charitable Associations for Qur'an Memorization, Chairman of the World Assembly of Muslim Youth (WAMY), and Chairman of the Executive Council of Conference of Ministers of Endowments and Islamic Affairs. His Excellency Sheikh Saleh Al Al-Sheikh is also a member of various bodies such as the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs, the International Islamic Council for Da’wah and Relief, the Supreme Committee for Educational Policy, the Committee on the Endowment of Children with Disabilities, and the Saudi AlFiqhia Association.
