This session called upon faith leaders to urge financial institutions to cease their financing activities contributing to climate change. It emphasized that peace and security in societies cannot be achieved without establishing climate justice. Therefore, it is the responsibility of religious leaders to address decision-makers and policymakers and urge them to play a dynamic role in rescuing the world from the impact of the climate crisis.
