The Muslim Council of Elders, under the chairmanship of His Eminence Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayeb, the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar, extends its heartfelt congratulations to the Arab and Islamic nations, and to the entire world, on the occasion of the Prophet Muhammad's (PBUH) birthday. 

The Muslim Council of Elders emphasizes that the birth of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was a momentous and transformative event in human history and that Allah sent him with a message of goodness for all mankind, urging people to uphold virtuous morals, including honesty, trustworthiness, maintaining family ties, and being good to neighbors. 

On this occasion, the Muslim Council of Elders urges the Islamic nation to follow the Prophet’s noble example, revive his Sunnah, study his life, and emulate his guidance in all aspects of life. The Council underscores that the divine, ethical, and legislative teachings found in the Prophet’s tradition offer a path to salvation for the Ummah and the world.

The Council also affirms that celebrating this blessed occasion provides an inspiring opportunity to unite the ranks of the Islamic Ummah, strengthen its solidarity, and respond to the challenges facing our world today. The Council calls on the scholars of the Ummah to promote unity, understanding, and mutual recognition, while rejecting the causes of division, discord, and sectarian strife, through enlightened intra-Islamic dialogue.
